As I was praying and preparing a sermon to preach, the Lord showed me few verses from the Bible, which really opened my eyes, which also encouraged me to preach. Here are few words of encouragement for you.
Here goes those verses:-
For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10: 12-15
The Lord really wants to richly bless all people who call on the Lord. The Lord really wants to save all those who call on the Lord.
But here is the problem- Not many preachers are sent! Here are 4 questions Paul asks the church in Rome.
- How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
- How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
- How can they hear without someone preaching to them?
- How can anyone preach unless they are sent?
This is the expected order
- Preachers need to be sent
- They need to simply preach the good news
- People need to hear the good news with their own ears
- People need to believe in the good news
- People need to call on the Lord
- Then the Lord will save them and bless them
If there is no preacher, how will they ever know about this God? If they do not know the true God who helps all who call upon Him, how will they ever call upon the Lord? If they do not know the Lord who richly blesses all those who call upon Him, how will they ever call upon this Lord?
Therefore, dear preacher, know this truth, that God has given you a great responsibility to preach the good news. Rest of the things, God will do. Don’t hesitate to do it, because the world is crying out for deliverance, help and blessing. Your simple task of preaching the gospel can save them.
When Paul and his friends were travelling in their mission journey, suddenly Paul heard a cry in a vision
During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Acts 16: 9
Immediately Paul and his team decided to sail to Macedonia, to preach the gospel
After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them. Acts 16: 10
Would you please accept the call of God and go! There are millions out there crying out for help! God has entrusted you with the good news to save them.
GO! GO! GO! Preach! Preach! Preach! Let them hear the good news, believe and be saved. How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel!
Don’t worry about how you will preach or what you will preach. The Holy Spirit promises to help you, strengthen you and fill your mouth with words to speak, and He will accomplish what He has intended to do with the Words of God. Stay encouraged in the Lord
Hope that encouraged you!
