Remember the words of the Lord during this hour of crisis

In this hour of crisis, our Lord wants us to do one significant thing: Remember.
Jesus told us everything beforehand. He just wants us to remember His words. 

John 16:4 “But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them“.

The word remember has got a lot of significance in this hour of worldwide crisis.
Apostle Paul also highlights:-

And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

What do you “remember” when you see and hear all these?
Do you remember the words of the Lord?
When the time comes, let us remember the words of the Lord.
And the time is now!
The Lord has told us everything well in advance.
And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. (John 14: 29)
Now it is coming to pass, let us REMEMBER and BELIEVE.
Believe what? Believe the Words of the Lord.
What were his words?

These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14: 25-27)

Let us start by remembering and believing these things.

We have a very present helper, the Holy Spirit

What does the world need in this crisis? Jesus says, HELPER!
Now, it has reached a stage that nobody can help you, and human help is minimal as of now. Casualties are increasing beyond human control. Now is the time to turn to the real Helper who can help us. He is the Holy Spirit!

Lord, I need your help. Holy Spirit, I need you. Please come and help me.

Wait and see how the Lord will turn up!

Holy Spirit will teach us all things

In this hour of crisis, we need wisdom from above. The wisdom of the world has failed. Governments, leadership bodies, rulers of the nations, pastors, priests, everybody needs wisdom!
It is high time; we must admit that we do not know everything. We need the teachings of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

Lord, today I humble myself. I need you to teach me. I do not know anything. Please tell me what to do.

Holy Spirit will help us to remember all the words of Jesus

Jesus asks us to remember. He is not asking us to trust our memory power, and rather He is giving us a divine Helper who can remind all His words during this time of crisis. 
Is your mind filled with anxiety? Worries about the future? 
Seek the Help of the Holy Spirit. He will remind you of certain things, and here are they!

Lord, remind us of all that you have told us. We really want to know and learn and remember all that you have taught us

Peace of God

Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.

Do you want the peace which the world offers? Maybe they can provide you with $1000 for a month or some benefits to get over the present crisis? But will that be enough? Do you think the government of the world can satisfy all your needs?
But Jesus gives you peace, and He is giving you His Peace!
The peace which surpasses all understanding. The peace which surpasses the turmoil of corona. The peace which passes the fear of death. The peace which passes the fear of corona. The peace which passes the fear of isolation. The peace which passes the fear of loneliness and chaos. 
In other words, the peace which the world can never give you!
Isn’t it truly the need of the hour?

Lord, I need your peace. I really need it now. Please fill me with your peace.

Jesus proved Himself when the disciples were really in need of peace. They were once afraid and was house quarantined due to fear of the Jews. Jesus appears and stands in front of them, saying, peace be with you. All sad and upset faces began to shine.
Wherever you are, isolated, quarantined, or unable to move, Jesus guarantees you Peace and His Peace. 

Let our hearts not be troubled nor be afraid

Is a world economic recession going to come? How will I pay the bills for this month, next month, next year? Forget about all those things for a while. Remember the words of the Lord. Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 
Who knows what will happen tomorrow? Who knows whether we will be there tomorrow? 
So let us not waste today by thinking about tomorrow, but be cheerful, peaceful by remembering and believing the words of the Lord. 
Worrying about tomorrow will never bring any good because tomorrow has worries of its own. The Lord is faithful to meet all your needs. Seek Him. Trust Him. Believe Him. He is with you. He loves you. He heals you. He gives you His peace. 
Remember what the Lord has spoken. Believe what the Lord has spoken (not the estimate of researchers or scientists). Experience the divine peace. Enjoy the help of the Holy Spirit. Learn what the Holy Spirit wants to teach you today.

Let us pray

Father, we pray for the millions of people in this world who are all going through various kinds of suffering, tragedy, and who have lost their loved ones. We pray that you fill their hearts with your peace. Lord, prepare us, teach us, equip us, remind us, fill us with your love, peace and grace. Lord, please give wisdom to the government to stand firm in this hour of crisis. Lord, please remember us. Lord, help us. We need you. We give you all glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
