One Question People Dare to Ask When a Baby Is Born

When a child is born, people usually ask:  Is it a boy or girl? What’s the name of the child? Who do they look like – father or mother? But no one dares to ask the ultimate question: what’s the purpose of this child.

When Jesus Christ was born, his parents knew the purpose of the child. It had been told to them by an angel of God: Mary would give birth to a Son, and they are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins. The word Jesus means Saviour, the one who saves people from their sins.

My friend, when you were born with a purpose. God has great plans for you. Meet Jesus today, he will set you free from your sins; provide an opportunity to rediscover your core purpose in life; give you a new beginning and a new hope, and give you eternal life. If you have never met Jesus, I wish and pray, that in this Christmas season, believe in Jesus and let Christ be born in your hearts.

Just say, Lord Jesus Christ, I believe You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank You for Your forgiveness of sins and for giving me the gift of eternal life. I invite you to come into my heart and be my Savior. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
