In memory of my father Pastor Moses (late) | Old Classic Sermon 2009
On this special day (father’s day), I cherish the memories of my (late) father Pastor Thomas P Kurien (Moses). He is the one person who motivated me to share the word of God and provided me with an opportunity to do so when I was just 14 years old.
He taught me spiritual discipline. He guided me to be an obedient son especially to our Father in heaven. My beloved dada trained me in ministry more than anything else. He would give me a few minutes of his time to preach in every church that he was invited to.
In the face of challenge or discouragement, he made sure that I trusted in God to help me through and no one or nothing else.
After 1 and half years past his demise, I realise he had made sure he laid the foundation for me through training and prayers to work effectively for the Lord. I am grateful to God above for giving me the privilege to be dada’s son.
Here is a sermon that I personally like that dada shared on “Running the race and finishing the course with joy” from the following verses (Recorded on Oct 2009)
“And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20: 22-24
