Why you should preach even if the room is not full

The other day, I went for a youth meeting. It was a small fellowship. Only few turned up.

I was praying within, for the help of the Holy Spirit, to lead the fellowship. Suddenly I heard the Spirit saying, “Jesus has already arrived. Don’t take it lightly.”
Immediately, my eyes were opened to the following scripture, in this context

For where two or three gather in my Name, there am I with them.” Matt 18: 20

Many times, as preachers, we are more enthusiastic to serve a larger crowd, and take the smaller crowd lightly. We forget the truth that, Jesus is already present in midst of them, if atleast two are gathered in the Name of Jesus. Therefore, we have to take each and every fellowship, whether small or big, very seriously, because the King of kings is already present wherever two or three are gathered in His Name.
This single awareness would change our entire perception and it will positively impact all the minute things we do as service to God’s people, because we know that the Master is watching!
May God open our eyes to this understanding, so that we may develop a Christ like attitude in serving even the smallest group of His sheep, just as Jesus did for the twelve.
